CAP Job Club for Penwortham and Lostock Hall launches a CAP Money Course for Job Club Members

Press release

CAP Job Club for Penwortham and Lostock Hall launches a CAP Money Course for Job Club members

The CAP Job Club which has been helping unemployed people is now set to run free courses to help people budget, spend and save.

King’s Church, in Penwortham, has once again partnered with UK charity Christians Against Poverty (CAP) to run the courses following on from the success of their CAP Job Club Steps to Employment Course.

It will mean that anyone who struggles to keep on top of their personal finances will be able to learn how to balance their budget, stop relying on credit and begin saving for the unexpected.

“We’re really excited to be offering this new service to the CAP Job Club members”  said CAP Job Club Manager Mark Willett.

“Our job club has been a real hit with many people finding new confidence in their search for work and now we want to show that sorting your finances is possible too.

“Experience tells us that when you can manage your money, life is greatly improved. You’re less likely to have rows with your partner and you can begin to plan ahead.”

The next course begins at 1.30 pm on Thursday June 26 at Calvary Christian Fellowship Ward Street Lostock Hall.

Mark added: “Everyone is welcome. Please don’t think you have to be a maths genius – we have the tools and can help make it straight forward. All you need to bring with you is a determination to improve your finances.”

To book your place on the CAP Money Course contact Mark on hello@theworkclub.org.uk or call 07542736095 and leave your details and phone number and we will get back to confirming place on course.
