Breaking News – Dave Brown our Volunteer Team member has secured full-time Work

Dave who has been a member of the team from the inception of The Work Club has secured a full time job,  writes

“I’ve really enjoyed being part of the club and have learnt a lot from the experience, and want to thank you for all you’re doing to make this work.”

Dave will be working for a local Charity, he will be popping along to the Club on Thursday 19th April 2012 to say goodbye..

Mark Willett the Founder and Co-ordinator of The Work Club for the Penwortham/Kingsfold Area writes ” Its been great having Dave as a Team member and we will all miss him , we wish him all the best for the future”      “the search is on to recruit some additional volunteers who share our values as a Team and can bring a range of expertise and experience to help our Club members.”

“Dave has been a great example of the impact that volunteering can make, further details are available of other volunteering opportunities  at the Club and partner organisations .

This Summer The Work Club is supporting “Hope Together – Serve our City” 10th-14th July 2012 which is just one of a number of city-wide events happening throughout 2012, the Preston Guild Year. Further details are on the Hope Together Web Site   The Hope Together intiative is about the whole church serving the whole city together, in word and deed, to bring light into dark places.
