Interested in setting up a Work Club or a CAP Job Club?

The Penwortham CAP Job Club Team  provides an advice and consultancy service to community, voluntary, faith and training organisations who are thinking of setting up their own Work Club or CAP Job Club.

The team can provide basic advice ( free of charge), and this can involve a discussion over the phone, a visit  to the Penwortham  or Lostock Hall Job Club   and a  link to the web site.

Consultancy sessions can include: how to set up a club, how to apply for grants, developing a business plan, publicity and marketing , recruiting volunteers, evaluation and feedback, Quality Standards and how to sustain  the model in your locality.

We offer offer a web hosting model working with our Web Designer – Grassroots, where emerging Work Clubs/Job Clubs  can rent a home page linked to our main web site which provides a cost effective package for their members.

Note all the income generation from the Advice and Consultancy Services is re-invested into our CAP Job Club.

You may also like to read a publication from DWP/JCP that provides some basic details on how to go about setting up a Work Club. Alternatively contact for details about CAP Job Clubs.

For further details please contact The CAP Job Club Manager at and we contact you to discuss your requirements.
